About Ernie DelGatto Ernie DelGatto is the founder and president of EDG Capital. Ernie was born and raised in New York City and, as a high school student athlete at Mount St. Michael Academy, achieved First Team, All City, basketball honors. He attended Providence College on a full athletic scholarship before an injury ended his basketball playing. He completed his college education at Iona College where he earned his Business degree, graduating with honors.
Since graduating college in the early 1980's, Ernie has worked his entire career in the financial services industry, selling sophisticated financial structures, including leveraged leases and various fixed income securities for a major Wall Street firm. Prior to founding EDG Capital, Ernie spent the previous seven years investing money into technology residuals for a company owned by one the the wealthiest families in the world, where he earned the top sales award!
